Nancy Lynch visits to sign and discuss her book VIETNAM MAILBAG: VOICES FROM THE WAR, 1968-1972.. In 1968, Nancy, then a 21-year-old reporter for the Wilmington Morning News, started a column and encouraged service people to write in and tell her what the war was really like. Nancy received over 900 letters between 1968 and 1972 and personally answered each one. Forty years later, she sorted through the original correspondence and added recent interviews with some of the soldiers who had written to her. This book was the remarkable result.
