DC Comics/Vertigo will publish the official graphic novel adaptation of Stieg Larsson's "Millennium Trilogy," starting in Fall 2012 with THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, the international publishing phenomenon. Each book in the "Millennium Trilogy" will be adapted in two hardcover graphic novel volumes.

This description applies to the series not this one volume. Celebrating its seventh year in publication, The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman had a banner year in 2010. After winning the 2010 Eisner Award for Best Continuing Series, AMC (Emmy award winning dramas Mad Men and Breaking Bad) recently found much success with their adaptation of Kirkman’s graphic novels. Follow Officer Rick Grimes, who has just awoken from a month long coma to find the country, possibly the world, overrun with, well, the walking dead. Thankfully not another violent, blood-and-guts based horror comic, The Walking Dead is a series about people, as well as zombies. More so, it is about people being put in impossible situations, their ever growing psychological damage and how they cope with staring both the apocalypse, and each other, in the face.
